Raplapla

A raplapla is a doll without a neck.
A doll without ears, elbows, knees or even a nose.

But each raplapla has a wonderful smile (without teeth) that won’t wipe away in the wash.

Raplaplas were invented by Erica, a gal who sure knows how to use a needle and thread!
-
Having studied fashion design, Erica spent the next several years as a costume designer, then as a sewing instructor.
Looking for a good excuse to launch a line of cloth toys, she also had two children.

-
As the years flew by, more and more raplapla’s were born and Erica decided she’d better find a way to sleep at night.
-
Since 2008, all raplapla cloth toys have been made in Montreal by our fabulous team: Estevan, Natalia and her mom!
During this time, Erica lived in a straw hut in Honolulu drinking cocktails all day. Erica now spends her free time making prototypes, special projects and one-of-a-kind models!

code of ethics

Quality, integrity and good vibrations are what drive the raplapla company.

-
When you give a child a raplapla toy, you’re giving them a trusty playmate that will share their ups and downs, follow them wherever they go (a raplapla can squeeze into any space), and keep all their secrets safe (raplaplas are the souls of discretion, maybe that’s why they have such cheeky smiles).
-
Choosing a raplapla is about making a difference. You will receive an intangible, luxurious gift: the certainty that it was made sweatshop-free with love and tenderness.
-

Raplaplas are designed to be loved, shared, hugged and tugged, and they are also washable and repairable, so they’ll last a long time.
Give them a workout!
